Luna van Brussel Barroso has built an outstanding academic and professional trajectory. She graduated cum laude from Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School (Rio de Janeiro) and was selected, based on academic excellence, for an exchange program at Harvard Law School.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from UERJ, an LL.M. from Yale Law School, and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of São Paulo (USP).
She is one of Brazil’s leading experts in Digital Law and the author of the widely cited book Freedom of Expression and Democracy in the Digital Age. She has published extensively in academic journals and major media outlets. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in complex litigation and arbitration, with experience before the Superior Court of Justice (STJ).
