Luna van Brussel Barroso has had a trajectory of vertiginous success, having graduated cum laude from the Law School of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro. She was selected, due to her performance, for an exchange program at Harvard Law School.

Luna van Brussel Barroso holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s from Yale University, and is a doctoral candidate at the University of São Paulo.

She is one of the leading specialists in Brazil in Digital Law, being the author of a book that has become a classic, titled Freedom of Expression and Democracy in the Digital Age. She has published numerous articles in academic journals and the mainstream media. Before joining the firm, she worked in judicial litigation and arbitration, with experience before the Superior Court of Justice.
